The time has come for us to leave the wonders of Vedauwoo behind, but we can’t resist going out early to put a rope on one last climb on John’s tower, Yellow Belly 5.10c. This is perfect – hand jams, stemming, fingers, a hard lieback, all leading to a final honker of an offwidth. We’re both good an ruined, well-scraped up, and ready bid a fond farewell to our beloved Vedauwoo.

Thanks for all of the great pictures and posts. That really looks like an incredible area. Now we are going to have to visit Vedauwoo.
Looks like you two are really enjoying yourselves! 🙂
You’ll like Vedauwoo I’m sure, despite the signs of overuse and abuse in many of the boondocking spots. A little exploration can be very rewarding!
