Our group from last week grows by two when Alli and Wes join us. Despite an earlier 7am start, we’re feeling enthusiastic beforehand.

It’s a hot day and we are sharing the trail with some very tired 100-mile racers on their last miles. Despite these things the run is still quite peaceful, and very scenic.

We all finish the 17 miles in good spirits. It’s the longest run so far for Alli and Wes, and close for the rest of us.
Ann hikes a peak to our north and joins us at the beach afterward for some sun and swimming. Good day.
