Ann and I take Colin and Aspen up Incline on our favorite route. Aspen learns that snow does not equal cold – it’s a very warm day and too much clothing will cook you! We linger on the windless summit, then I do a slush run on the south side and climb halfway back up. When I meet the snowshoers descending Aspen spots a rabbit in the snow – first time I’ve seen one out and about in the winter! The snow is melting fast, we’ll need some more soon to keep this up.
