Continuing our efforts to visit obscure peaks, we give up on Clark Mountain after finding the easy access from the Reno-Tahoe Industrial Park prohibited. Instead we drive into the Pah Rah range, where we find a road leading up Virginia peak. Instead of driving we park and hike, doing some bush whacking and talking to friendly deer hunters who don’t seem to be having much luck up here.

I so want to come back to Reno. Maybe in January!
I hope the hills will be buried in snow by then…
Well, I was thinking more about tacos than mountains if you really want to know the truth…
I’ll see if I can find out when taco season ends 🙂
