It looks like my plugin is going to work on at least some other systems, so I’ve added a few features, fixed some problems, written a little more documentation, and released a beta version:
You can play with some of the improvements on the hobomap.
- The center marker info window will now open when the map loads, which allows you to see the place name and zoom in on it.
- There are options for a default map type and zoom level.
- The map type and zoom level are stored in cookies if you follow post links, so you can go back to the same view.
- I supplied some sample stylesheet code to help make the info window readable.
