This morning I was drawn to this clump of cattails on Heron Lake. As I approached it a Great Blue Heron sprang out and flew away before I could ready my camera! There were plenty of other birds on the lake this morning too, but I hope I can approach more cautiously and get a shot of the Heron in the future.

Dennis & I are going to Atlanta to visit family. And, we’re going to see the Georgia Aquarium. It opened Nov 23rd and is apparently the worlds largest aquarium! If any of my “amateur” pics turn out, maybe I’ll send yer one 8^)
