I find it interesting how changes in state almost always involve making things much much messier than they were initially. For a time, things pile up, then the sort happens, then the filter is applied (what will be given away, trash, etc.), and then finally things are tidied up again.
I love the filter stage. Detest sorting. Don’t care for the clean stage. A little mess is more comforting than sterile room. So good job getting messy!
