Well, we start the day after tomorrow. I'm still ecstatic, and confident. Those feelings have been mixing occasionally though with pure awe (and a little terror) at the size of the trip. Pete's mom was telling us about a week-long pack trip she did last summer. She thought maybe she would try that section of the trail with us. Then we realized that we are doing the same 38 miles in two days. Awe. Can we really do it?

I miss you more all hte time. I'm about out of money, so i won't be able to do everything i wanted to for your birthday. There will be something of course. Please remember how much i love you, and how much i look forward to being with you ...
